Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (STIP) is a higher education institution located in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was established in 1965 as a maritime education and training institution under the Ministry of Transportation. STIP offers a range of programs in the field of maritime education, including diploma programs in nautical studies and marine engineering, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in maritime studies. The programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue careers in the maritime industry, including as deck officers, marine engineers, port managers, and shipping professionals.
